By visiting our site and / or purchasing an item from The Padstow Tea Company Ltd you engage in our service and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.  These terms and conditions apply to all users of this site, including without limitations users who are browsers and customers.

Payment methods

Our transactions are processed through PayPal.com ‘only’, using a secure encrypted server.

Delivery

It always makes us happy when things run smoothly, but on the very rare occasion due to circumstances outside our control you order may take a little longer than expected to arrive. Please expect delivery of your order within 3-5 working days, if however we are unable to deliver your order within this time we will inform you immediately.

If your delivery has not arrived after 7 working days then please inform us at hello@thepadstowteacompany.co.uk quoting your order No. We do realise that slower deliveries can be very frustrating and thank you for your patience whilst your order is in transit.

Delivery prices

For extra peace of mind, we transit your goods using Royal Mail 2nd Class service up to a weight limit of 2kg, covering the United Kingdom, Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man ‘only’.  For orders over £35.00 (tea value) delivery will be ‘Free of Charge’, using Royal Mail 2nd Class service. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to mainland Europe and the rest of the World.

Cancellation rights 

As a consumer you have the right to cancel an order as required by the distance selling regulations.   The cancellation period in the case of contracts for the supply of goods begins with the day on which a contract is concluded.  The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. You as the consumer can be asked to return and pay for the cost of returning goods. Further information on cancellation rights can be found on the department of trade and industry website.

Handling complaints 

We will acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.

We will advise you and we will keep you informed how long it will take to resolve the complaint.

Refund policy

We want you to love your tea but if you are not 100% happy with your order please let us know so that we can resolve it.

Our refund policy lasts for 30 days.  If 30 days have passed since the date of your purchase unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund.

​

Your tea must be returned unused and unopened in the same condition that you received it.

Once your return is received and inspected we well send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to and by the original payment method.

Unfortunately shipping costs are not refundable.

Ethical and Sustainable

The Padstow Tea Company Ltd cares about where and how our teas are sourced and we want to make sure that the tea farmers we work with receive a genuinely fair deal.

Sustainability

All our loose leaf tea is imported directly from origin, the majority of which is certified Organic by the Organic Food Federation.

​
